SHFSK is a satire which lampoons the superficiality of self help culture and motivational quotes, and how they can be manipulated and misused, while also exposing the ways in which microaggressions work to create a cover for larger acts of violence. It operates as a feminist take on the serial killer genre which goes further than hackneyed gender reversal or straight up revenge story. SHFSK is the millennial daughter of American Psycho.
